The MEAN WELL DRC-40A is a 40W DIN rail power supply with a battery charger and UPS function. CH1 supplies the load at 13.8V (up to 1.9A) while CH2 charges an external 12V battery at 13.8V / 1A. When AC mains is present the unit powers the load and charges the battery at the same time; if AC fails, the battery supplies the load, with a battery cutoff at 10V ±0.5V to prevent deep discharge.
