The MEAN WELL LAD-120D is a 120W security/fire alarm power supply with a built-in battery charger and UPS function. CH1 supplies the load at 55.2V (up to 1.21A) while CH2 charges an external 48V battery at 55.2V / 1A. When AC mains fails, the unit switches to UPS mode and the battery takes over the load; a battery cutoff at 43V ±0.5V protects the battery from deep discharge.
