Ordering & Payment

Placing orders, payment methods, purchase orders and terms.

How do I place an order?

Add the products to your cart and check out online, or email your order to sales@htdelectronics.com. To speed things up, include your full name, company name, phone number, shipping address, model numbers and quantities. See Ordering Info for details.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit and debit cards and the other payment options shown at checkout. We also accept bank wire and ACH transfers: email sales@htdelectronics.com for payment instructions. Orders paid by bank transfer are processed after the payment is received and verified. All payments are in U.S. dollars (USD). See Payment Methods.

Do you accept purchase orders (POs)?

Yes. We accept purchase orders from companies, manufacturers, system integrators, distributors, contractors, educational institutions and government organizations. Email your PO to sales@htdelectronics.com and our team will confirm the order, availability, estimated lead time and shipping details.

Do you offer Net 30 payment terms?

Our standard terms are prepaid, wire transfer or ACH. Approved customers may qualify for Net 30 terms, subject to credit approval. Email sales@htdelectronics.com to ask about opening terms. See section 3 of our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Is checkout secure?

Yes. Checkout is SSL encrypted and PCI-DSS compliant.

Will there be any surprise fees at checkout?

No Surprise Fees: prices are shown in USD, and what you see at checkout is what you pay. Shipping is calculated from your destination, package weight and the service you choose, and it is shown at checkout before you confirm the order. Sales tax applies unless you have an approved tax exemption.

For international shipments, the destination country may charge customs duties, import taxes or brokerage fees. Those are the buyer's responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing. See our shipping policy.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Contact us as soon as possible at sales@htdelectronics.com or +1 305-432-1030. Special-order, non-stock, custom-configured or factory-built items cannot be canceled or changed without our written approval, and approved cancellations may carry restocking, manufacturer, administrative or freight charges. See section 8 of our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Shipping

Cut-off times, carriers, delivery and tracking.

When will my order ship?

Orders for in-stock products placed on a business day (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays) before 4:00 PM ET ship the same business day. Orders with an express service, such as FedEx 2Day¼, must be placed before 3:00 PM ET to ship the same day.

Orders placed after these cut-off times, on weekends or on federal holidays ship the next business day. Cut-off times apply to order processing, not carrier transit time, and may vary during peak periods. All orders ship from our U.S. warehouse. See our shipping policy.

Which carriers do you use?

We ship with UPS, USPS, FedEx, UniUni, DHL Parcel and DHL Express. Available carriers depend on the destination, package size and service availability. Express services such as FedEx 2DayÂź are offered at checkout for eligible destinations.

How much does shipping cost, and how long will delivery take?

Shipping is calculated from your destination, package size and weight, the service you choose and carrier rates. The exact cost is shown at checkout before you confirm the order. Product pages also have a ZIP code estimator that shows the shipping options for your area.

Delivery dates come from the carriers and are estimates, not guarantees. Weather, customs and carrier delays can affect transit times.

Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico?

Yes. We ship to all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii, and to Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories. FedEx 2DayÂź is not offered to these destinations; orders ship with USPS or DHL services. The options and rates for your address are shown at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship to customers across Latin America and to selected international destinations. International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other charges set by the destination country. These are the buyer's responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing. See our shipping policy.

How do I track my order?

Use our Track Your Order page. For help with a shipment, email sales@htdelectronics.com or call +1 305-432-1030.

Volume & Quotes

Quantity pricing, quotes and lead times.

Do you offer volume discounts?

Yes. Quantity pricing is applied automatically in the cart, based on the quantity you add:

  • 10+ units: 5% off
  • 20+ units: 7% off
  • 50+ units: 9% off
  • 100+ units: 11% off
  • 200+ units: 13% off

Each product page shows its price table for every quantity tier. For project quantities, request a quote.

How do I request a quote?

Fill out our Request a Quote form with your name, email, product models and quantities, or email the details to sales@htdelectronics.com. We reply with pricing, availability and lead time. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote, or 15 calendar days if no period is stated.

A model is out of stock or not listed. Can you still get it?

Out-of-stock models show a Request a Quote button instead of Shop Now. Send us the model and quantity and we will confirm availability and an estimated lead time. Lead times are estimates and can change with manufacturer production schedules and logistics.

Do you offer custom packaging or labeling?

Yes. For customers with specific receiving or operational requirements, we offer custom packaging and labeling. Email sales@htdelectronics.com with your requirements.

Products & Technical

Choosing the right power supply. Always confirm the final selection against the manufacturer's datasheet.

How do I choose the right wattage?

Add up the power of everything the supply will run, then choose a model rated at least 20% higher, so the load stays at about 80% of the rating or less. Match the output voltage to your load exactly.

For LED strips, our LED power supply calculator does the math: enter the length, watts per meter or foot, and voltage, and it shows models that fit, with live price and stock.

What is the difference between constant voltage and constant current?

A constant voltage (CV) supply holds a fixed output voltage, such as 12 V or 24 V. Most LED strips and general electronics need this type. A constant current (CC) driver holds a fixed output current, in mA or A, and is used for LEDs and modules rated by current, such as many COB arrays.

Some LED drivers can work in both modes. Check your load's rating and the driver's datasheet before you connect it.

What is the difference between IP65 and IP67?

Both ratings mean the unit is dust-tight. IP65 adds protection against water jets from any direction. IP67 adds protection against temporary immersion, tested at up to 1 m for 30 minutes. Neither rating is meant for continuous submersion.

For outdoor or damp locations, follow the installation notes in the datasheet. Units without an IP rating, such as the LRS series, are for indoor use inside an enclosure.

What do the A, B and AB suffixes on MEAN WELL HLG drivers mean?

On most HLG models the suffix marks the version:

  • No suffix: IP67, with fixed output voltage and current.
  • A: IP65, with output voltage and current adjustable through a built-in potentiometer.
  • B: IP67, with 3-in-1 dimming (0–10 VDC, 10 V PWM signal or resistance).
  • AB: IP65, with both the potentiometer and 3-in-1 dimming.

Some models offer other versions, such as D (timer dimming). Always check the datasheet on the product page for the exact options.

What is the difference between the MEAN WELL LRS and RSP series?

Both are enclosed AC-DC power supplies. LRS is the low-profile, cost-effective, general-purpose family. RSP adds built-in active power factor correction (PFC) and covers higher power levels, which suits equipment that needs PFC or more wattage.

Compare models, voltages and stock on the LRS, RSP-75 to RSP-500 and RSP-750 to RSP-3000 series pages.

Where can I find datasheets and catalogs?

Product pages include the manufacturer's datasheet and related documents. MEAN WELL product catalogs are available as free PDFs on our Manufacturers page, where you can also browse every series by category.

My MEAN WELL model is discontinued. What replaces it?

Use our MEAN WELL Replacement Guide. Enter the old model number to see the replacement listed in MEAN WELL's Discontinued and End of Life announcements, along with the models we carry and their live price and stock. Always confirm dimensions, pin layout and specifications on the datasheet before replacing.

Can your team help me choose a power supply?

Yes. We help with product selection, technical specifications, application support and safety and compliance requirements. Call +1 305-432-1030 (Monday–Friday, 10 AM–5 PM ET), email sales@htdelectronics.com, or send your load, voltage and quantity through Request a Quote.

Returns & Warranty

Returns, damaged items and warranty support.

What is your return policy?

You can request a return within 30 calendar days of receiving the product. Items must be unused, uninstalled and in their original packaging with all accessories, manuals and documentation. Proof of purchase may be required.

We do not charge a return fee or restocking fee for approved returns. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method after we receive and inspect the merchandise. See our Return Policy.

How do I start a return?

Submit a Return Authorization Request or email sales@htdelectronics.com. Ship the item only after you receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and our return instructions. Returns sent without an approved RMA may be refused and sent back.

What if my order arrives damaged, defective or wrong?

Inspect your shipment as soon as it arrives, and contact us right away at sales@htdelectronics.com or +1 305-432-1030 if anything is damaged, defective, missing or incorrect. If a product arrives damaged, does not work under normal operating conditions, or we shipped the wrong item, we provide a prepaid return label and cover the reasonable return shipping costs for the approved return, replacement or exchange.

Are any items non-returnable?

Special-order, factory-built, custom-configured, modified, obsolete, opened or used products may not be returnable and are subject to our written approval. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure. See our Return Policy.

What warranty do the products have?

Products carry the manufacturer's warranty, where one applies. We pass it through to you, and our team helps you through troubleshooting and the warranty and RMA process. See section 10 of our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Tax Exemption

Buying tax-exempt for resale, manufacturing, government or non-profit use.

How do I buy tax-exempt?

Submit your certificate through our Tax Exempt Certificate form. We accept resale, manufacturing, government agency and non-profit exemptions, among others. Upload the certificate as a PDF, JPG or PNG (10 MB maximum) and list the states it covers. Our team reviews it together with your account information.

Do you charge sales tax?

Applicable sales and use taxes are charged unless a valid tax exemption certificate is provided before the order ships. See section 4 of our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
