XDR series FAQs
Does XDR need a fan?
No. XDR is cooled by free air convection, with no fan to wear out.
Does XDR have a DC OK contact?
Yes. XDR models have a built-in DC OK relay contact for PLC monitoring.
What temperature range does XDR support?
From -40 °C to +70 °C, with derating above 50 °C.
What warranty does XDR have?
MEAN WELL lists a 3-year warranty for XDR.
What size XDR power supply do I need?
Add up your load in watts and choose a model rated at least 20–30% higher, at the exact output voltage your load needs. Check derating at high ambient temperature on the datasheet.
